Travel Photographer of the Year was launched in 2003, and rapidly became one of the world's most prestigious photographic competitions.
Thousands of entries are received from amateur and professional photographers in over 70 countries every year, in a bid to win some of the amazing prizes on offer, from trips to highly photogenic locations to the latest professional-level photographic equipment and software.
