Every journey starts with a map, this then remains a vital reference point throughout the whole trip. The Map Zone will hope to bring these essential documents to life. Tour de Force and The Royal Geographic Society (with IBG) will be hosting the Map Zone, drawing together a wide range of people from within the travelling community to pour over maps, swap stories, give talks, exchange travel tips, answering your questions and finding the best routes. Whether you are planning a trip, want to reminisce on past experiences, or just love maps, the Map Zone will be the place to find the best information.
The Map Zone in Partnership with Royal Geographical Society (with IBG)
Anyone can plan an expedition - the challenge is to do one that really makes a difference either to you or the wider community. With a library holding past expedition reports, guidebooks, and maps of every geographical route, the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) is the starting place for many hundreds of people who run their own expeditions and fieldwork overseas each year.
Tour De Force
